The upgrade to a deluxe suite was a fantastic bonus, and the cleanliness of the room along with the thoughtful housekeeping service made us feel right at home. The central location meant we could easily walk to nearby eateries and attractions, saving us time and hassle. A few areas of the property looked a bit worn, but nothing major that affected the overall positive experience 😊.

LOVED the friendly staff and easy access to the Metro. Breakfast at Scottys Diner was a highlight. Would stay again! The room was a bit smaller than expected but still okay. Staff were amazing, except for one. Leisure facilities not mentioned were a downside.

It is a relaxing property located in Manhattan district short walk to battery park, the theater district, the grand central station.

We had an excellent stay at this venue. The location is ideal; right behind a major transportation hub and close to all the important sites in Manhattan, yet on a relatively quiet street in a very nice area. Our room had great amenities, including a in-room desk and a flat-screen TV. The staff were also helpful, providing us with wake-up service and dining recommendations. The exercise gym and wheelchair accessibility were added bonuses.

Beds are exceptionally comfortable, location is brilliant, to many sites. Again, it is set walking distance to An Art Deco – Style Skyscraper.

rooms were super clean, and the location was awesome – close to grand central station - bars, and restaurants. the staff was so helpful - even stowed away our luggage after check-out. and can't forget the complimentary wine reception at 5pm - perfect after a day of sightseeing! definitely recommend.

Located on Lexington Avenue, it's noisy! The double glazing is average! I also compare it to the Affinia Garden hotel which is quieter...

While the Queen size bed was very comfortable in the bedroom, the sofa in the suite on which my son had to sleep was CATASTROPHIC (spring mattress much too thin)! Serious back pain ! He ended up sleeping on the floor, which is the worst thing in such a beautiful hotel ! No heating from the 10th of April, the day of our arrival and yet it can still be quite cold on that date. We were brought a small auxiliary heating after three days and blankets.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my needs and the room was great and clean. Despite some hiccups with water availability and unkind front desk staff, the Sonesta team was quick to address my concerns and provided excellent service. The lobby was inviting, but the rooms and corridors could use a modern touch. Appreciate the staff for swiftly rectifying room issues, upgrading us to a Suite with a larger bed. Thank you for your hospitality.

The central location of this hotel is unbeatable, making it easy to explore famous landmarks like the Empire State Building, Times Square, and Grand Central Station. the room was spacious and clean, with lovely views of the city. the fitness center was a nice bonus, and we enjoyed the convenience of having a coffee shop nearby for a quick pick-me-up.

One aspect that could be improved is the lack of on-site dining options as advertised. Updating the hotel's images and details to accurately reflect the available facilities would be beneficial for future guests.

We really liked the hotel, its design, the size of the rooms, very pleasant for a week's stay . The staff is efficient, welcoming and pleasant. The location of the establishment is also perfect for those who want to visit Downtown Manhattan.

The sound insulation with the outside can be surprisingly low, . The bathroom "in" the bedroom separated by a sliding door was less appreciated, little privacy.

The location was fantastic, close to everything I needed. The room was spacious and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of the city skyline. The daily housekeeping service was a nice touch, and the luggage storage area came in handy after check-out. Overall, a great stay for my business needs.

The rooms were HUGE, which was awesome for our group. Plus, the location was super convenient. We could easily hop on a train or bus to check out St Vartan Park or catch a live improv show. We even enjoyed a delicious holiday breakfast at Jeannie's - it was so lit!

The only thing we wished for was a better party scene at the hotel for young folks like us. A cooler hangout spot with more activities would've been dope.

I recently stayed at The Shelburne Sonesta for a weekend getaway. The wait for the elevators was short, and the hotel is conveniently located near a Pret a Manager and within walking distance to Grand Central Station. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, even waiving the high internet fee and quickly providing allergenic pillows and dishes upon request. Plus, we had a neat corner balcony with a stunning view of the Empire State Building.

the staff at Sonesta was fantastic, and they even valeted my car to the parking garage, saving me the hassle of finding a spot. I was pleasantly surprised to find full-size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower, which was a great touch. the room, especially room 909, was spacious and well-equipped with amenities like a coffee maker, bar fridge, iron. the hotel also had a great restaurant called Rare, and I particularly enjoyed the daily credit at the lobby refreshment area. Happy hour and the rooftop bar were added bonuses, and the Wi-Fi was included. Plus, the hotel had easy access to the subway.

We had an amazing romantic escape in NYC! the spacious room and comfortable king-sized bed were perfect for a cozy getaway. We also enjoyed the stunning views from the rooftop bar and had a delicious lunch there. the location was ideal, with delis, restaurants, and the Empire State Building within walking distance. Plus, the hotel offered a wine hour which was a nice touch.

The only downside was the daily Facility Fee. It was stated upfront, but we found it to be an unnecessary additional cost.

The hotel staff really took care of us, upgraded us to a fancier room just because we're military. Loved how clean the room was and the housekeeping left notes on the phone to help us out. The location was spot on, close to everything but not in the middle of the madness. 🌆 Midtown Manhattan at its finest! Only thing was the shower leaked a bit, but didn't spoil the fun.

Scotty's Diner: Dive into classic NYC diner vibes at Scotty's, where pancakes are stacked high and the coffee flows like the Hudson River. Pershing Square: Tuck into comfort food with a modern twist at Pershing Square, where the eggs Benedict are a Broadway hit. Dun Huang: Transport yourself to the flavors of the Silk Road at Dun Huang, where the dumplings are a dance of spices.

The only gripes I have are the faint aroma of cat musings in my room and a mysterious stained pillow. However, the food scene nearby truly outshines any minor setbacks.

The spacious suites felt like a home in Murray Hill, perfect for large families like ours. The St Vartan Park right around the corner was a hit with the kids, offering wide open spaces to play and have fun. The festive breakfast at Jeannie's was a delight, with kids' activities and a Santa visit for memorable photo ops.

My wife says that it would be great to have more kid-friendly activities or play areas for families with children.
